Sanitation and hygiene are essential pillars of healthy, productive communities. At Community Agriculture Resources Development Programme (CARDEP), we promote safe water practices, proper waste management, handwashing awareness, and improved sanitation facilities in schools and rural households. Our program reduces waterborne diseases, improves school attendance, and strengthens community well-being. We conduct community sensitization, hygiene education campaigns, and support the construction of eco-friendly latrines and handwashing stations. By integrating sanitation with agricultural and environmental initiatives, we ensure sustainable, clean, and dignified living conditions that empower families and enhance overall development

Proposed Projects Seeking Funding
Promote food security and increased incomes of the resource poor coastal communities by promoting sustainable management of land and water resources for improved food security, health and sanitation. The organization also implements education programmes to improve education programmes in the coast and develop youth talents in different fields
Education Programs:Â Mentorship programs in primary, secondary and Tertiary institutions in Kilifi County and in particular Kilifi North constituency (Matsangoni, Jimba, Mubarakachembe and watamu areas)
Volunteerism programme:Â We have a Volunteerism programme which provides opportunity to both university and school leavers to gain field experience while working in our projects.
